Posts Under Pay Level 7 (₹ 44900 to 142400)

Pay Level-7 (₹ 44900 to 142400) includes the following posts:

• Assistant Section Officer: This position is available with several Ministries, including the Central Secretariat Service, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of External Affairs, AFHQ, and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The age limit for this position varies depending on the specific Ministry, but it ranges from 18 to 30 years old.

• Inspector of Income Tax: This position is with the CBDT and has an age limit of 18-30 years old.

• Inspector (Central Excise): This position is with the CBIC and has an age limit of 18-30 years old.

• Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: This position is with the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications.

• Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerks: This position is within the Central Govt. Offices/Ministries other than CSCS cadres.

• Senior Administrative Assistant: This position is with Military Engineering Services, Ministry of Defence.

• Tax Assistant: This position is available with both:

  • CBDT

  • CBIC

• Sub-Inspector: This position is with the Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance.
